DEVIL - New album -Gather The Sinners- : Release date, cover artwork and tracklist revealed!
Norwegian doom rockers DEVIL return with their second opus, after pleasantly surprising many with their 2011 debut -Time to Repent-.
“Gather The Sinners” will be released on March 22nd through Soulseller Records - on CD, limited gatefold LP and digital format.
The new album is a step up both in song writing, performance and production. It also varies from the doomiest they have ever done to the most classic heavy metal they ever done, and if that\'s not enough: the most garage they have ever done. Fans of Devil will not be disappointed, and with a higher standard on all accounts, we can all be confident that - Gather The Sinners- will be a worthy sophomore album.

The most complete Old Funeral release to date! It includes:
- The first 7 demo recordings NEVER released before except for the 50 original cassette copies from 1989.
- Live recording from Garage, Bergen, Norway in April 1991. NEVER released in any format before.
- The Abduction Of Limbs 1990 Demo
- The Devoured Carcass 7inch 1991 EP
- The track Forced To Be Lost 1991 recorded in Grieghallen.
- The September 1992 advance tape
- Live track from Hulen, Bergen, Norway 1991.
- Vinyl Gatefold/ CD booklet includes original democover artwork + flyers + never before seen pictures including the VERY FIRST photosession from May 1988 !
Old Funeral was born 17th of May 1988 and died in October 1992.
This album contains what happened in between. No tracks are re-mixed, nothing has been touched up. It is all straight from original tapes. These recordings feature legendary artists (members from BURZUM, IMMORTAL, HADES, THE BATALLION) in several unique line ups pioneering some of the oldest Norwegian black, deathrash and death metal!
This compilation follows Old Funeral from their rebellious youth through to an ending in darkness. |

While preparing to enter the studio soon to record their sophomore album “Gather the sinners” (to be released spring 2013) Norwegian blues doom hounds Devil are also scheduling a fullength split album with The Sabbathian, a brand new act featuring Chad from Hour of 13, providing you with stripped down doom metal in the vein of Black Sabbath and early Candlemass.
This concept split album will feature new material of both bands, exclusive to this release!
“The Sabbathian vs. Devil – Return to the eve of destruction” is expected to be out during the summer of 2013 and will be released as cd, limited lp and digital through Soulseller Records worldwide.

One inch Giant
After selling its soul, the One Inch Giant has been sloughing off its skin, altering its shape and shifting its colors. What was a rather harmless creature has now been transformed into something vivid and unpredictable. If you look closely, you will find spots of black metal, grunge and bits of rock on its back, altering its skin progressively throughout its entire body. Up close you might find it ugly, but if you take a step back you will witness The Greatest View. And do not judge it by its size. After all, even the smallest creature can cast a very large shadow.

The psychedelic/doom/occult rock project - has inked a deal with Soulseller Records.
The bands self titled album, Bloody Hammers, will be released in November.

Bloody Hammers was recorded and produced by Jerry Anders at Greystone Studios in North Carolina, USA. The result is a melodic and heavy hard rock debut.
