Studfaust is a project sown together by Bård Faust Eithun (ex Emperor , Blood Tsunami, Mongo Ninja ) and Tore Bratseth (ex Old Funeral ,aka Stud Bronson of The Batallion).
They entered the studio in late November 2011 and the result was 2 dirty, firesparking tracks in the spirit of the old school of metalpunk. Music like this is rarely made nowadays with such authenticity and passion, and these veterans in the metal scene, now show their musical muscles with a piss off attitude. Studfaust definitely stand on their own, and this 7inch will most likely become a cult collectors item with only 500 copies to be pressed. DEAD TO THIS WORLD continues its march to the netherworlds after having signed a worldwide deal with Soulseller Records. First weapon of choice will be “SACRIFICE” , to be officially released 16th December 2011. This mini-album features close to 30 minutes of all-devouring darkness and shall be followed by a full-length in 2012.

Enslaved - Thorn 7 inch ep



The mythological universe of Enslaved is full of references to the timeless concepts of ones word and the strength of bonds. About a decade ago, a pact between Enslaved and Soulseller Records were made to do a strictly limited 7 inch release with exclusive Enslaved material. The whole agreement was based on both parties love for vinyl and the old ways of the Extreme Metal scene. Well, shortly after the pact was made, Enslaveds career accelerated a lot, and the Enslaved/ Soulseller deal kept having to wait for the next recording, promo trip or tour. Well, finally it was realized that things were never going to slow down (which is good news!), and that the time was right to do it! The present record label of Enslaved, Indie Recordings respected the agreement without hesitation only adds to the air of genuine musical and artistic values that surrounds this release.

The result is the 7 inch vinyl enitled Thorn; consisting of the songs Disintegrator and Striker, pressed in a strictly limited number of 1000 copies. The songs are eerie and atmospheric, with nods both back towards Enslaveds edgier-monotonous past and dark-psychedelic present. The 7 inch is produced by Enslaveds own Ivar Bjørnson and Iver Sandøy (who the band has worked with since last years Axioma Ethica Odini).

The Devil package deal is now finally available since the shirts have arrived; all pre-orders are currently shipping. If you haven’t pre-ordered yet: there’s still some copies of the shirt left for ordering, sizes are S,M,L,XL and XXL, Fruit of the Loom heavy cotton as you’re used from us.
